| The Lake County Star was first published in 1873 and is still printing. The Lake County Star is now a part of the Pioneer Group Their website: Click Here Due to having such a small staff to put out the paper, The Lake County Star DOES NOT DO LOOK-UPS so please don't ask them. However, they say they will allow people to go to their location and search the records themselves. They have records from 1947 to present, with gaps due to a roof leak that caused water damage to some of their records. They only allow this on these specific days/times: Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays 10am-5pm ONLY. At this location: The Lake County Star 851 Michigan Ave. Baldwin, Michigan 49304 |
| NOTE: Pathfinder Community Library in Baldwin, Lake County, Michigan has very limited copies of past Lake County Star newspapers. |
